Responsibilities Design build Configure and test data loss prevention rules Create and maintain inventory of test scenarios and test data Create and maintain documentation Detailed analysis of data loss events to confirm validity of rules and identify false positive false negative scenarios Triage and respond to operational requests related to data loss event monitoring and response Examples Release emails that have been prevented due to DLP Data Loss Prevention rules Research scenarios in response to business inquiries around application of DLP rules Leverage data and analytics to create metrics that demonstrate compliance and highlight risk Generate metrics and reporting to support the program and the effectiveness of controls Develop knowledge of different channels where DLP is applied email endpoint network etc Identify and recommend changes to ensure the overall health and performance of DLP platforms Through analysis make recommendations for recent rules tunning monitoring or blocking Educate other team members on how to build strong DLP rules and processes Partner with product management to define and articulate vision of the data loss prevention service Research new IT and security developments Develop knowledge of all channels where DLP is applied Required Skills Hands-on experience with at least one DLP tool with preference to Proofpoint and Zscaler Analytical skills to make recommendation for new rules fine tuning and blocking Knowledge of general information security concepts Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written Self-motivated curious attitude to learn take initiative and passionate about continued learning with desire to further transform and modernize solutions Demonstrated ability to lead and consult Ability to design overall platform strategy Ability to influence decision making Qualifications Provide prompt courteous and excellent service at an acceptable cost to all customers operate in an ethical manner in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations the company s Corporate Code of Ethics employee handbook applicable compliance and operations policies and procedures and other policies of the company Possess a high degree of integrity and actively cooperate and interact with all entities of the Principal Financial Group
