ABOUT EVERNORTH Evernorth exists to elevate health for all because we believe health is the starting point for human potential and progress As champions for affordable predictable and simple health care we solve the problems others don t won t or can t Our innovation hub in India will allow us to work with the right talent expand our global footprint improve our competitive stance and better deliver on our promises to stakeholders We are passionate about making healthcare better by delivering world-class solutions that make a real difference We are always looking upward And that starts with finding the right talent to help us get there Position Overview The systems analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements consulting with personnel from various departments and identifying areas for technical solutions development and business process improvements Roles Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders from the Domain Application owners Data stewards Analytics Legal Compliance and IT areas to identify scope and understand key requirements Perform complex application implementations using latest techniques and technologies which includes AWS Services RDBMSs Postgres APIs and querying languages etc Review the existing platform by capturing requirements on areas of improvement while collaborating with the development team in determining the implementation of enhancements Work with DBA and Data Modeler to design and implement changes for application engagements to facilitate the archive and purge of non-compliant data Review design and prepare applications system specifications for Information Systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and implementation Ability to interpret analyze and report on in-depth data analysis Should be open to learning current tools technologies and adapt based on Project requirements Ability to take ownership on assigned tasks and report progress to senior-level leadership Ability to work as part of a self-organizing team in a highly Agile environment Qualifications Required Skills A passion for healthcare and the potential for technology to improve peoples lives Effective verbal and written communication skills Should be able to facilitate group discussions The aptitude to deliver enterprise and or platform systems and solutions in a variety of scenarios Experience in distilling complex ideas into an implementation plan and then delivering it out The ability to critically evaluate the trade-offs and implementation impacts of emerging vs more established technologies Experience in JAD sessions with business users and help formulating technical business requirements Required Experience Education 8-11 years of healthcare experience solving business problems or needs through the application of data analytics approach 9 years experience working with various RDBMS which can include DB2 Oracle SQL Server etc Ability to build intermediate to complex queries leveraging common query languages SQL HQL etc Knowledge of AWS Services Cloud Technology at a foundational level Experience in testing debugging and solution designing Experience with hosting requirement gathering sessions and ability to articulate the same Ability to function in a Production Support like environment is a plus About Evernorth Health Services Evernorth Health Services a division of The Cigna Group creates pharmacy care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality We relentlessly innovate to make the prediction prevention and treatment of illness and disease more accessible to millions of people Join us in driving growth and improving lives
