The driving force behind our success has always been the people of AspenTech What drives us is our aspiration our desire and ambition to keep pushing the envelope overcoming any hurdle challenging the status quo to continually find a better way You will experience these qualities of passion pride and aspiration in many ways from a rich set of career development programs to support of community service projects to social events that foster fun and relationship building across our global community The Role The Project Engineering Manager will build and lead a rapidly growing team of project engineers to ensure successful delivery of SCADA and related projects through the provision of high quality engineering and project support services Working from DGM s Banglore office and from company and customer sites across globe as required the successful applicant will contribute to project delivery excellence in support of utility customers in the energy generation transmission and distribution industries Your ImpactDesign plan integrate test and commission hardware and software requirements on customer systems Provide technical sales support of state-of-the-art power systems applications for real-time control systems including sales presentations and product demonstrations Perform installation integration and testing of the hardware software and system Own troubleshooting efforts for discovered variances and deploy resolutions in a timely manner Define project requirements through customer communication and communicate the requirements to other departments as necessary Work as the primary systems engineer responsible for deploying complex and dynamic control systems Provide networking and system application design Perform hardware software and system installation integration and testing such as FAT SAT for projects Customize system hardware and network configuration based on customer requirements Provide customer support and assistance per contract maintenance and warranty Manage staff and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel Lead teams in the development of new solutions and processes Oversee project logistics and resource allocation Assist in creating training materials and project documentation as needed What You ll NeedBachelors of Engineering in Electrical Engineering Electronics and Communications Engineering Computer Engineering Systems Engineering or related field Strong technical background in automation and computers with at least 5 years of relevant experience Experience in one or more of the following power systems electric utility operations dispatch real-time control systems client server applications network communications UNIX Linux Windows operation systems C C Experience with CAD Visio or similar software Experience in Database structures Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Mongo Cassandra Experience with JSON XML Experience with common utility protocols ICCP DNP IEC MultiSpeak Excellent organization interpersonal and leadership skills Personnel and project management skills Strong communication interpersonal and conflict resolution skills Strong commitment to providing superior customer service Ability to work on several projects in parallel in a quick-paced environment Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability and flexibility to travel to customer sites
