The Junior Accountant will assist with maintaining financial records preparing reports and reconciling accounts This role involves providing support to the accounting team by performing essential accounting functions and assisting with financial audits and month-end processes Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements including balance sheets income statements and other reports Record and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and performing account reconciliations Support the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and submit tax filings as necessary Help with audits both internal and external Process invoices payments and expense reports Monitor company financial transactions and ensure proper documentation Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company procedures Assist in the preparation of budget reports Collaborate with other departments for financial data as needed Qualifications Bachelor s degree in commerce Finance or a related field Fresher or 1 years of experience in accounting or finance Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software e g Tally Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Education Bachelor s Preferred Location Gurgaon H O Gurugram Haryana Preferred Work Location In person
