Production Preparation Engineer This position requires a professional engineer who can be an integral part of building team supporting the Production Preparation team The main responsibilities include the following Responsibilities Study and understand the changes in change notifications Implement the engineering changes in ERP system Acknowledge and approve the change notifications Identify and create the purchase levels Updating the structures as per the change notifications in the ERP system Create change notifications with purchase level articles in Supplier Collaboration Portal SCP Update documentation in SCP Proactively inform suppliers and all stakeholders on current releases and engineering updates Respond in a timely manner to urgent sourcing and supplier requests To carry out all assigned tasks as necessary to achieve desired results and meet departmental goals Create and update different types of custom Kit solutions in ERP system Provide regular status updates to Project leader Team Manager Knowledge and Experience At least 3-5 Years experience in M3 ERP handling supplier module and well versed with different mashups At least 1-2 Years experience in any PLM software Experience in handling and maintaining master data Experience from relevant industry application - e g Mining Equipment Automotive or other relevant application preferred Good understanding of manufacturing processes and be able to create solutions Education BE BTech in Mechanical Engineering equivalent Personality requirements Energetic Team player Open to learn new things Approachable Open for constructive feedback Result oriented and capable of working independently Position requires strong communication skills to interact with suppliers work effectively with global team members and present performance results to upper management Must possess exceptional integrity to handle supplier relationships objectively and to maintain confidentiality of shared information while dealing with competitive suppliers Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers and accelerates the transformation toward a sustainable society With ground-breaking technology Epiroc develops and provides innovative and safe equipment such as drill rigs rock excavation and construction equipment and tools for surface and underground applications The company also offers world-class service and other aftermarket support as well as solutions for automation digitalization and electrification Epiroc is based in Stockholm Sweden had revenues of more than SEK 60 billion in 2023 and has around 18 200 passionate employees supporting and collaborating with customers in around 150 countries Learn more at www epiroc com
