About us Basil Woods Juniors is an education initiative conceived by the team of ISKCON Bangalore The school follows an integrated curriculum with Montessori philosophy forming the base of the curriculum and teaching methodology It also provides day care facilities Responsibilities The Center Head will be reporting to the Center Director The Center Head is committed to sustaining a high-quality Preschool program that values partnerships between parents students and staff The Center Head creates an open and honest working environment that inspires professionalism and rewards creative creative teaching The desirable candidate s responsibilities will be broadly but not limited to as under- Strategic role Coordinating the preschool and the day care program of the centre Communicating and implementing the organization s vision mission values and the working principles Representing the organization to the preschool stakeholders Conducting review meetings with the school team to ensure the program implementation standards in terms of the academics infrastructure and program delivery Assessing the resources of the preschool daycare and working towards its optimum utilization Having regular meetings with the management to review the effectiveness of the schools policies procedures and processes Academics Coordinating with the teachers and facilitating the sessions preparing the lesson plans and assessing the academic progress of children Planning the academic calendar and organizing events field trips guest talks etc Participating in educational events and conferences reading professional publications maintaining personal networks participating in professional organizations Admissions Handling the parent enquiries conducting the admissions counselling on behalf of the school Monitoring the key growth parameters of the school Communication and parent relations Managing parent relations and conducting PTMs Having regular meetings with the management to review the effectiveness of the schools policies procedures and processes Conducting review meetings with the school team to ensure the program implementation standards Center Administration Ensuring the smooth running of the centre and the academic programs Preparing the daily monthly annual MIS reports and monitoring the key management parameters Overseeing maintaining the necessary books of records and updating them in a timely manner Financial management Overseeing managing the financials of the centre Responsible for the income and expenditure of the school Maintaining the proper books of accounts for audit and review purposes People management Managing the school team designing and monitoring their KRAs organizing conducting periodic training programs Managing the new staff recruitment Infrastructure and Facilities management Overseeing ensuring the maintenance and the upkeep of the school campus overseeing the facilities and inventory management Key competencies Self-motivation Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail Strong work ethics Empathy Problem solving Decision making Meticulous planning Critical thinking Patience Team work Enthusiasm Flexibility and adaptability Leadership Qualifications Bachelor s degree with a recognized Montessori NT training Location BWJ Kakinada Compensation As per the market standards Other Basil Woods is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace as an educational institution Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
