Job Summary The Laser Cutting Machine Operator is responsible for the setup operation and routine maintenance of laser cutting machine to produce various types of metals and other material parts according to engineering drawings and quality specifications This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality Key Responsibilities Machine Setup and Operation Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines to cut parts from various materials e g MS aluminum stainless steel Select and install the correct lenses nozzles and cutting parameters power speed and gas pressure based on material type and thickness Monitor the load and unload raw materials sheets plates manually or using overhead cranes forklifts Programming and File Management Retrieve load and edit cutting programs files DXF DWG from the CAD CAM system Optimize material usage through productive nesting of parts to minimize scrap and waste Quality Control Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints technical drawings and work orders to ensure production meets required dimensions and tolerances Use precision measuring instruments calipers micrometers and tape measures to perform first-piece and in-process quality checks Identify and troubleshoot poor cut quality e g dross burrs warpage and make necessary machine adjustments Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 18 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Work Location In person
