Position: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

About the Role

Inland Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to provide comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of musculoskeletal disorders and traumatic injuries. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality orthopedic care through outpatient consultations, inpatient services, emergency management, and surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct OPD consultations and evaluate patients with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Diagnose and manage fractures, dislocations, sports injuries, arthritis, spine disorders, osteoporosis, and other bone and joint diseases.
- Perform elective and emergency orthopedic surgeries, including trauma and fracture fixation procedures.
- Manage orthopedic emergencies and provide timely surgical intervention when required.
- Conduct daily inpatient ward rounds and monitor post-operative recovery.
- Interpret X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other diagnostic investigations relevant to orthopedic practice.




- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, physiotherapists, physicians, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Counsel patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and infection control practices.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, CMEs, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications

- MBBS with MS/DNB in Orthopaedics from a recognized institution.
- Valid National Medical Commission (NMC) / State Medical Council registration.
- Fellowship in Joint Replacement, Arthroscopy, Spine Surgery, or Trauma (preferred but not mandatory).
- Relevant post-qualification experience is preferred.

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
