Job Description

- Overall planning, execution, and management of all tunneling activities, including EPB TBM operations, shafts, cross passages, and associated underground works.
- Provide technical leadership and decision?making for tunneling operations in mixed ground and hard rock conditions.
- Manage and coordinate the operation of multiple TBMs concurrently, ensuring optimized productivity, safety, and equipment performance.
- Ensure full compliance with project specifications, approved designs, method statements, safety standards, and quality requirements.




- Lead risk identification and mitigation related to geology, ground behavior, TBM performance, and hyperbaric interventions.
- Interface closely with design teams, geotechnical experts, monitoring teams, and construction teams to ensure alignment between engineering intent and site execution.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring to ensure tunneling works are delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage resources including manpower, plant, consumables, and subcontractors efficiently.
- Review and approve tunneling methodologies, TBM parameters, and performance reports.
- Support contractual administration, claims management, and coordination with client and consultant representatives.
- Foster a solid safety culture, ensuring zero harm objectives are achieved across all tunneling operations.
