Design and develop plumbing and firefighting systems for high-rise buildings ensuring efficiency and sustainability Perform water supply drainage and stormwater system calculations pipe sizing and pump selection using industry-standard software Prepare detailed design drawings BOQs technical reports and project specifications Ensure compliance with UAE regulations Dubai Municipality DM codes ASHRAE NFPA UPC and BS EN standards Coordinate with architects structural engineers and MEP teams to optimize plumbing layouts Select and specify pumps tanks water heaters valves sanitary fixtures and fire suppression systems as per project needs Conduct site visits inspections and technical evaluations to ensure proper installation and commissioning of plumbing systems Assist in the preparation of tender documents technical proposals and cost estimations Troubleshoot and resolve design and implementation challenges Stay updated with the latest plumbing design trends sustainable water management practices and energy-efficient solutions Requirements Education Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Experience Minimum 1-4 years of experience in plumbing design Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP WaterCAD Pipe Flow Expert or other plumbing design software Robust knowledge of UAE Plumbing Codes IPC BS EN ASHRAE NFPA and LEED requirements Experience in designing potable water supply drainage stormwater firefighting and greywater recycling systems Job Type Full-time
