COMPANY PROFILE SKYX AEROSPACE is a leading manufacturer of cutting-edge drone technology solutions designed for various applications including agriculture logistics and surveillance We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of aerospace engineering and delivering cutting-edge products to our clients JOB SUMMARY Skyx Aerospace is hiring a Junior GIS Analyst to support drone data processing and map creation This is an entry level role involves working with tools like ArcMap and Agisoft Metashape to turn drone imagery into accurate geospatial products You will play a critical role in processing and analysing drone data creating high-quality geospatial deliverables and contributing to the research and development of innovative projects The ideal candidate is detail-oriented eager to learn and has a basic understanding of GIS software and mapping techniques You ll be part of a collaborative team working on important government projects with room to grow and innovate KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Process drone imagery using Agisoft Metashape and similar software to create orthophotos 3D models and point clouds Apply RTK and PPK techniques to correct drone GPS data and improve positional accuracy in mapping outputs Create maps and spatial data using ArcMap including shapefiles contours raster layers and map layouts Develop orthomosaics DEMs DSMs and other geospatial products from drone data to meet project requirements Organize and manage drone datasets including storing backing up and preparing data for processing Support R D efforts by testing new GIS tools improving existing workflows and contributing ideas to ongoing innovations Document all processes clearly including software steps data sources and project files for internal records Communicate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements share updates and deliver results on time REQUIRED SKILLS 0-6 months in GIS drone mapping or related work freshers welcome Basic working knowledge of ArcMap for mapping spatial analysis and data editing Familiarity with Agisoft Metashape or similar software for processing drone imagery Basic understanding of RTK Real-Time Kinematic and PPK Post-Processed Kinematic correction methods Familiarity with using Google Earth Pro for spatial referencing and visualization QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in Geography Geoinformatics Geology Environmental Science Computer Science or a related field Candidate with experience in drone industry or similar is most preferable 0-6 months of experience in GIS drone mapping or related areas Basic proficiency in ArcMap and AutoCAD Ability to work both independently and in a team BENEFITS Competitive salary in the industry Hands-on experience with real-world drone and GIS projects Involvement in R D projects to boost innovation and learning Opportunities to learn from experienced analysts and grow within the company Job Types Full-time Fresher Pay 14 466 10 - 20 000 00 per month Benefits Commuter assistance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule Day shift Supplemental Pay Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location In person Expected Start Date 18 08 2025
