L2 NetworkWe are looking for a highly skilled and proactive L2 Network Resources Lead Consultant to join our IT Infrastructure team In this role you will provide second-level support for network operations manage incident and change management processes and serve as a technical lead for troubleshooting and improving network performance You will collaborate closely with L1 support teams infrastructure teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless network operations ResponsibilitiesServe as a primary point of escalation for L2-level network issues and outages Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of LAN WAN switching routing and wireless network issues Monitor network performance and health using tools like SolarWinds Wireshark or equivalent Analyze incident trends and propose permanent fixes to reduce repeat issues Assist in implementing changes and upgrades per the change management process Collaborate with architecture teams for infrastructure improvements and design changes Provide mentorship and guidance to junior network engineers and L1 support teams Maintain and update network documentation diagrams and configuration records Ensure compliance with security policies and support network-related audit activities Qualifications we seek in you Minimum Qualifications SkillsBachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or related field Experience in network support with a lead or senior L2 role Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Juniper or similar network devices Good knowledge of routing protocols OSPF BGP switching technologies VLAN STP and firewalls Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools e g ServiceNow SolarWinds PRTG Understanding of ITIL framework and incident change problem management Excellent communication documentation and coordination skills Preferred Qualifications SkillsCCNA CCNP or equivalent certifications Experience with SD-WAN VPN and cloud networking AWS Azure Scripting knowledge Python Bash for automation is a plus Why join Genpact Lead AI-first transformation -
