Lead Engineer - R01551671 Lead Engineer Primary Skills Salesforce SOM SFCC Progressive Web App SOM Job requirements Experience Required 8-11 years Key Responsibilities o Lead the technical design and end-to-end implementation of Salesforce Order Management SOM solutions o Architect and all the SOM related Objects and Workflows o Design and build orchestration flows for order capture fulfillment cancellation return and payment processing o Develop and maintain automation using Flow Apex and Composite APIs for complex order lifecycle management o Integrate SOM with external systems ERP WMS Payment Gateways SFCC etc using REST SOAP APIs and middleware o Create scalable data models and ensure data integrity across order transactions o Collaborate with architects developers QA and business teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business goals o Provide hands-on leadership and mentorship to developers conduct code reviews and enforce best practices o Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues across orchestration flows and API interactions o Stay current with Salesforce SOM feature releases and recommend adoption strategies o Define and implement custom logic for split shipments fulfillment routing order holds backorders partial returns and refund processing o Build robust automation and extensibility using Salesforce Flows Apex triggers batch Queue jobs Lightning Components and Platform Events o Analyze production issues perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes and system optimizations o Drive system monitoring observability and proactive alerting around key order flows and service interactions o Contribute to sprint planning backlog grooming and Agile ceremonies as a technical leader Technical Skills o Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Order Management SOM architecture and data model o Expertise in o Apex LWC Lightning Web Components SOQL SOSL Aura o Flow Builder Process Builder legacy and Orchestration Flow Designer o Platform Events and Change Data Capture CDC o Experience with Composite API Named Credentials and secure API integration practices o Proficiency in configuring and customizing SOM orchestration flows for order lifecycle events o Experience with integrations REST SOAP to ERP payment providers and logistics systems o Experience with OAuth2 JWT and named credential-based auth flows for secure communication o Familiarity with Salesforce Core Clouds Service Cloud Commerce Cloud B2C B2B or Sales Cloud o Deep understanding of order-related processes fulfillment splitting holds returns exchanges and adjustments o Strong experience with Salesforce DX Git CI CD pipelines o Understanding of PCI compliance SCA Robust Customer Authentication and fraud management in order transactions o Knowledge of common middleware tools e g MuleSoft Dell Boomi is a plus o Salesforce certifications such as Order Management Accredited Professional PD1 PD 2 or Integration Architecture Designer are preferred
