Later morning with later evenings with flexible hours roughly 12pm-12am IST with breaks What You ll Achieve Work on building large-scale web applications that handle high traffic volumes in clustered environments ensuring scalability and reliability Write clean maintainable and well-tested code following best practices in both frontend and backend development as a model for other team members Investigate and resolve production issues ensuring application reliability and performance Take an active role in code reviews and architecture discussions and help drive sprint planning and other Agile ceremonies within the team Collaborate with Product and internal stakeholders to identify prioritize and develop new features and improvements for our products as well as provide support for any stakeholder issues Collaborate with other Engineers and Engineering teams outside of the team ensuring requirements are considered and met for cross team projects Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the advertising industry to guide decisions about our technical approach and key features to implement Contribute to internal documentation technical blogs or presentations to elevate engineering visibility and learning Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies and bring forward recommendations for new tools or improvements Skills You ll Bring Computer Science degree is a plus but not required 5 years of qualified software engineering experience including ownership of complex projects and systems delivered to production 5 years experience with JavaScript and React Experience with Java preferred Strong technical leadership track record including guiding design decisions and coaching and mentoring engineers Proven experience working collaboratively across functions to ship high-quality software Experience contributing to and shaping team engineering practices or architecture Technically strong with a history of successfully shipping products into production Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical details for stakeholders and influence technical direction Extensive hands-on experience in building and maintaining full-stack web applications covering frontend backend database interactions and API integrations Expertise in designing developing and managing server-side logic and APIs using technologies such as Node js Express js and Java Spring Proficient in creating responsive interactive and intuitive user interfaces using HTML CSS JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks like React js Angular or Vue js Strong command over both SQL and NoSQL databases including MySQL MongoDB DynamoDB and caching solutions like Redis Understanding of concepts on server side JS that involves event loop and async operations Skilled in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services and APIs for seamless system communication Ability to break down a request into actionable tasks Demonstrated ability to navigate and make tradeoffs in complex systems including debugging refactoring and performance tuning Strong grasp of software architecture principles including modularity testing scalability and resilience Proficient in working within the AWS environment with hands-on experience in services such as EC2 EKS S3 SQS RDS and Lambda Expertise in Git with a strong understanding of version control and release processes including branching strategies and collaboration in a team-based development environment A keen eye for optimizing system performance both frontend and backend including improving database query efficiency and ensuring optimal application speed Awards Shortlisted for Marketing Technology Company of the Year for the 2023 Mumbrella Awards 2024 Winner of 7 BuiltIn Awards on a national regional and remote scale -
