Job Summary The Assistant Professor of English is responsible for teaching undergraduate and or postgraduate courses in English engaging in scholarly research and contributing to departmental institutional and community service The role emphasizes excellence in teaching academic research curriculum development and student mentorship Key ResponsibilitiesTeaching Teach undergraduate and or graduate courses in areas such as English Literature British American World Postcolonial etc Linguistics ELT ESL Composition and Rhetoric Creative Writing Prepare course syllabi lesson plans and instructional materials Use innovative and student-centered teaching methods Assess student performance through exams assignments and projects Mentor and advise students academically Service Administration Participate in departmental and university committees Assist with curriculum development and academic planning Contribute to accreditation assessment and quality assurance activities Engage in outreach extension or community-based academic activities QualificationsRequired M A in English or a closely related field or near completion Robust academic background in English studies Demonstrated teaching ability at the college university level Evidence of research potential and scholarly engagement Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Work Location In person
