Role Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned Zuora Developer/Lead to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of our subscription billing ecosystem. In this role, you will serve as the technical authority, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Finance, and Sales Operations, to ensure our revenue operations are seamless and automated.

By architecting robust integrations and maintaining high-performance billing workflows, you will directly influence our ability to scale subscription revenue, improve billing accuracy, and enhance the overall customer experience across our global operations in Chennai and Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy end-to-end solutions within the Zuora ecosystem, including Billing, Revenue, and CPQ, to streamline complex subscription lifecycles and ensure financial compliance.
- Design and maintain sophisticated Zuora Workflows to automate manual billing processes, reducing operational overhead and minimizing human error in revenue recognition.
- Lead the integration of Zuora with Salesforce and other CRM platforms, ensuring seamless data synchronization and a unified view of the customer journey for stakeholders.
- Develop and optimize custom API integrations to connect our billing engine with downstream ERP and accounting systems, facilitating accurate financial reporting and data integrity.




- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices, ensuring the team maintains high standards for code quality and system performance.
- Troubleshoot complex billing issues and perform root cause analysis to resolve system bottlenecks, ensuring uninterrupted service for our global customer base.

Required Skillset :

- Possess deep technical expertise in the Zuora suite, with a proven track record of configuring Zuora Billing, Revenue, and CPQ to meet intricate business needs.
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in API integration and data mapping, with the ability to build scalable connections between Zuora, Salesforce, and enterprise CRM environments.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of translating high-level business objectives into precise technical specifications and workflows.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity in project requirements, timelines, and technical limitations.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new features within the Zuora platform, ensuring our systems remain at the cutting edge of subscription management.
- Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 6 - 12 years of relevant skilled experience.
- Thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment, demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects independently while contributing to team success in our Chennai or Bangalore offices.
