We are looking for someone who has lived the YouTube journey firsthand—someone who has built and grown their own channel, understands the grind of getting from 100 to 50,000 subscribers, and has experimented deeply with growth tactics.

It is for creators-turned-operators who understand what works on YouTube because they’ve tried, failed, iterated, and grown themselves. At Hubhopper, you will work on scaling YouTube channels for brands, founders, and podcasts—owning end-to-end growth strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Growth

Strategy (0 → 10 Scale Focus)

Build and execute growth strategies for new and early-stage YouTube channels

Knowledge of famous YT creators and their strategies Knowledge of podcast and video content understanding across genres

Identify content-market fit and iterate quickly based on performance signals

Develop channel positioning, content buckets, and publishing strategy

- Non-Linear Growth Execution

Drive growth using unconventional and high-leverage tactics:

Short-form distribution across platforms (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style formats)

Cross-posting across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)





Fan page ecosystems and content amplification loops - clipping content Collaboration strategies with creators and adjacent audiences

Experiment with rapid testing frameworks to identify breakout formats

- YouTube Optimization & Analytics

Optimize titles, thumbnails, retention curves, and CTR

Analyze watch time, audience behavior, and content performance

Continuously refine based on data insights

- YouTube Ads & Distribution

Plan and execute YouTube ad campaigns for content amplification

Use paid + organic loops to accelerate growth

Optimize CAC for subscriber and view growth

Content Repurposing

Engine

Build systems for converting long-form content into high-performing clips

Scale distribution through Shorts and short-form-first strategies Ideal Candidate Profile

Has built or actively worked on their own YouTube channel

2–4 years of hands-on experience in YouTube growth / channel management / YouTube ads

Deep understanding of YouTube algorithm, retention, and virality mechanics

Strong intuition for content that performs vs. content that doesn’t

Has experimented with clipping, fan pages, cross-posting, and collaborations

Thinks in terms of growth loops, not just linear content calendars

Comfortable working in a quick-paced, high-ownership environment
