Role Description The Youth Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune District, responsible for guiding and supporting young people interested in exploring work and study opportunities in Europe. This role involves designing and delivering youth-focused programs, workshops, and information sessions about European job markets, mobility options, and career planning.
The Youth
Lead will coordinate outreach activities, build relationships with schools, community organizations, and local stakeholders, and provide one-on-one guidance to youth participants. Daily tasks include program planning, monitoring participation and outcomes, maintaining accurate records,
and collaborating with colleagues to improve services and resources for young people. The role also includes gathering feedback, identifying emerging needs, and contributing ideas for new initiatives that empower youth to plan international careers responsibly and sustainably.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Youth Leadership, Youth Programs, and Youth Work skills to design and implement effective initiatives for young participants.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to facilitate workshops, deliver presentations, and provide clear one-on-one guidance.
- Candidates should possess Social Work-related skills to support diverse youth backgrounds, promote inclusion, and handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Relevant experience in education, career counseling, community development, or youth-focused NGOs is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, social work, psychology, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Pune District, manage multiple programs, and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
- Strong organizational skills, cultural awareness, and an interest in international mobility and European labor markets are advantageous.
