Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workday Configurator with expertise in Core HCM, Absence Management, and Compensation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting Workday solutions while ensuring alignment with business requirements and HR processes. The role requires strong functional and configuration experience across Workday HCM modules and the ability to support end-to-end project activities.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM, Absence Management, and Compensation modules.

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.

Configure organizational structures, supervisory organizations, staffing models, job profiles, positions, and worker lifecycle processes.

Design and configure absence plans, eligibility rules, leave accruals, and absence-related business processes.

Configure compensation plans, compensation grades, bonus plans, allowances, and merit processes.

Support business process design, security configuration, and workflow optimization.

Participate in implementation, enhancement, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.

Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver effective Workday solutions.

Support system upgrades, releases,



and configuration changes.

Develop and maintain functional documentation, configuration workbooks, and test scripts.

Assist with data validation, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

Conduct user training and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

Required Skills & Experience

410 years of experience in Workday HCM implementation, configuration, or support.

Robust hands-on experience in:

Workday Core HCM

Workday Absence Management

Workday Compensation

Experience configuring

Supervisory Organizations

Staffing Models

Job Profiles

Positions

Business Processes

Security Roles

Absence Plans

Leave Accruals

Compensation Plans

Merit and Bonus Cycles

Strong understanding of HR processes and workforce management.

Experience across requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support.

Knowledge of Workday reporting and security concepts.

Preferred Skills

Experience with additional Workday HCM modules.

Familiarity with Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Dashboards.

Experience working in Agile project environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
