Role Description

OwnerHost is looking for a WordPress Developer to join our team on-site in Mysore. This is a full-time role where you will independently design, build, and manage WordPress websites for homestays and resorts using industry-leading hotel themes and booking plugins.

Your responsibilities will include configuring WordPress hotel themes, setting up booking engines, designing attractive and responsive pages, creating website content, optimizing user experience, and ensuring websites effectively showcase properties to drive direct bookings.

This role does not require custom WordPress theme or plugin development. Instead, we are looking for someone who understands how to leverage existing hotel themes, page builders, and plugins to create professional, conversion-focused websites.

You will work closely with the founding members and gain hands-on exposure to complete project execution—from understanding a property's brand to launching its website. Qualifications

- Proficiency in WordPress website design and development, preferably for hotels, resorts, homestays, or vacation rental businesses.
- Hands-on experience configuring hotel WordPress themes, booking engines, and hotel management plugins.
- Solid knowledge of page builders such as Elementor or similar tools.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic WordPress customization.
- Good understanding of On-Page and Off-Page SEO and website optimization best practices.
- Ability to independently design, develop, update, and manage complete WordPress websites.
- Ability to create and organize website content in a visually appealing and conversion-focused manner.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Leadership potential with the ability to take ownership of projects and eventually lead a small team as the company grows.
- Highly coachable, eager to learn, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
