Job Description – HR Manager

Position: HR Manager
Department: Human Resources
Location: Hospital / Healthcare Organization
Reporting To: Head – Human Resources

Qualification

- MBA in Human Resources / Personnel Management or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical, nursing, allied health, and non-clinical positions.
- Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and employee welfare initiatives.
- Oversee employee onboarding, orientation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exit formalities.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and hospital HR policies.
- Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave management, and employee records.
- Drive performance management, annual appraisals, and competency assessments.
- Plan and execute employee engagement, recognition, wellness, and retention programs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.




- Monitor manpower planning and ensure optimal staffing levels across departments.
- Maintain HRIS, employee documentation, and confidential personnel records.
- Generate HR MIS reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics for management.
- Support accreditation requirements (NABH/JCI) related to HR documentation and compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve workforce productivity and employee satisfaction.
- Lead HR audits and ensure continuous process improvement.

Experience

- 8-10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a hospital or healthcare organization.
- Experience managing recruitment for doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and hospital support staff is preferred.
