We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented SEO & WordPress Intern to join our growing team. This is a fully remote Work From Home opportunity, ideal for someone with hands-on experience in both SEO and WordPress website design who is looking to grow further in a fast-paced digital marketing workplace.

Role Overview

As an SEO & WordPress Intern, you will work closely with our team on live client projects involving search engine optimisation, website updates, content publishing, website design improvements, and website performance optimisation.

This role is perfect for someone who already has practical experience and wants to work on real client projects with long-term growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with on-page SEO optimisation for client websites
- Upload and format blog posts, landing pages, and service pages in WordPress
- Design and update website pages using WordPress and page builders like Elementor
- Perform keyword research using SEO tools
- Optimise meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and internal linking
- Conduct backlink research, backlink submission, and link-building activities
- Submit business listings, directory submissions, citations, and other off-page SEO tasks
- Conduct basic website audits for SEO issues
- Monitor website rankings and prepare simple performance reports




- Update website content, images, plugins, and layout improvements in WordPress
- Support with technical SEO tasks such as redirects, indexing checks, and sitemap updates
- Assist with Google Business Profile optimisation
- Coordinate with the internal team on SEO and website tasks

Required Skills

- Practical experience in SEO and WordPress website design
- Good understanding of on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and basic technical SEO concepts
- Experience working with WordPress CMS and page builders like Elementor
- Good written English and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Knowledge of Yoast SEO, Rank Math, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools is an advantage
