Ramee Group of Hotels is hiring for Chief Engineer for Ramee Rose Hotel in Dubai Interested applicants can forward their resume at recruitments rameehotels com or whatsapp at 91 (phone hidden) Detailed job description mentioned below for your reference The Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing all engineering operations of the hotel ensuring the property s facilities equipment and systems are maintained at the highest standards of safety efficiency and guest satisfaction This role manages the engineering team plans preventive maintenance ensures compliance with regulations and supports the hotel s operational and sustainability goals Key Responsibilities 1 Engineering Operations Maintenance Oversee the operation maintenance and repair of all hotel systems including HVAC electrical plumbing mechanical fire safety elevators and building structure Implement and monitor a comprehensive Preventive Maintenance Program PMP Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms public areas back-of-house and equipment rooms Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests to support guest satisfaction 2 Team Leadership Training Supervise schedule and develop the engineering team ensuring adherence to hotel policies and safety standards Conduct training in equipment operation emergency procedures and technical skills Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and service excellence 3 Budgeting Cost Control Prepare and manage the engineering department budget including labor utilities supplies and capital improvements Monitor energy usage and implement cost-saving and sustainability initiatives Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for quotations procurement and service agreements 4 Safety Compliance Risk Management Ensure full compliance with local building codes fire regulations health safety laws and environmental standards Maintain accurate records for inspections certificates permits and equipment logs Lead the hotel s emergency response procedures and coordinate with external agencies when required 5 Capital Projects Renovations Plan execute and oversee renovation and upgrade projects Work with senior management on long-term asset protection plans Ensure minimal operational disruption during project execution 6 Guest Service Communication Assist guests and other departments promptly with maintenance-related concerns Maintain effective communication with Front Office Housekeeping and other departments to support smooth operations Education Experience Degree or diploma in Engineering Mechanical Electrical Minimum 5-7 years of engineering experience in hospitality with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role Strong knowledge of hotel systems facility management and preventive maintenance Skills Competencies Leadership and team management abilities Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Budgeting forecasting and vendor management experience Familiarity with energy-saving methods and sustainability practices Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies Physical Requirements Ability to stand walk lift and perform manual tasks as required Availability to work flexible hours including weekends nights and on-call duty Job Type Contractual Temporary Contract length 24 months Pay 120 000 00 - 150 000 00 per month
