You will be the first line of IT support for our office site located in BKC This role involves diagnosing and resolving basic to intermediate hardware software and network issues ensuring smooth daily operations The L1 IT Engineer will report to senior IT support or IT Manager and will escalate more complex issues appropriately Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day technical support for end users desktops laptops mobile devices printers scanners peripherals Install configure and maintain hardware PCs laptops peripherals and software OS standard business applications Troubleshoot hardware faults software glitches and performance issues replace or escalate as needed Assist users with operating systems e g Windows macOS email clients Outlook etc browsers office productivity tools Support network connectivity issues wired wireless VPN network printers etc Maintain and track IT inventory hardware assets software licenses peripherals Respond to support tickets or requests via helpdesk system ensure proper documentation of issues and resolutions Assist with system roll-outs upgrades and user onboarding setup current machines configure user access etc Ensure regular backups where applicable support recovery efforts in case of hardware software failures Ensure compliance with security policies password policies antivirus patch management Coordinate with vendors external support for escalated hardware software issues or warranty repairs Maintain cleanliness orderliness of IT assets cables in the work-area to ensure safety and equipment longevity Experience Qualifications Bachelor s degree Diploma in Computer Science IT Electronics or related field or equivalent qualification At least 5 years of experience should be considered Basic understanding of computer hardware and software installation maintenance troubleshooting Some knowledge of networking fundamentals LAN WAN switches routers Wi-Fi Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 30 000 00 - 40 000 00 per month Benefits Provident Fund Experience Network 5 years Preferred Work Location In person
