We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Optometrist to join our team Key Responsibilities Perform thorough eye exams using specialized equipment and techniques Diagnose eye-related conditions such as nearsightedness farsightedness astigmatism glaucoma cataracts and retinal disorders Prescribe eyeglasses contact lenses and medications for eye conditions Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries e g LASIK cataract Educate patients on proper eye care hygiene and preventative measures Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with privacy regulations Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other medical professionals when advanced care is needed Recommend and fit specialty lenses e g bifocal progressive sports Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and eye care Qualifications Doctor of Optometry OD degree from an accredited school of optometry Valid state optometry license and current board certification Proven experience in clinical optometry current graduates welcome in some settings Strong knowledge of diagnostic equipment and software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities Job Type Full time Pay 15 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Education Bachelor s Preferred Experience Optometrist 1 year Preferred Work Location In person
