Job Title MEP Site Engineer Document controller Location Kochi Department Technica Engineering Project Execution Reporting To Civil Project Manager MEP Project manager Role Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive MEP Site Engineer Document controller to oversee the execution of all mechanical electrical and plumbing works on-site The ideal candidate will be hands-on in coordinating with multiple stakeholders ensuring timely execution as per approved drawings and specifications and leveraging tools such as AutoCAD and BIM for accuracy and efficiency Key Responsibilities Supervise and execute all MEP works on-site mechanical electrical plumbing fire-fighting ELV systems Review interpret and implement construction drawings technical specifications and shop drawings Ensure compliance with project requirements safety standards and quality guidelines Coordinate with consultants contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues Manage daily site activities manpower allocation and work sequencing to meet deadlines Prepare progress reports daily logs and site documentation Conduct inspections testing and commissioning of MEP installations Utilize AutoCAD and BIM tools for drawing review clash detection and as-built documentation Assist in material requisition vendor coordination and inventory management for site execution Identify and escalate design or execution discrepancies to the project manager Ensure all drawings document control customer customisation details are documented and ensuring in helping in planning stages of project Requirements Bachelor s Degree Diploma in Mechanical Electrical Civil or related Engineering discipline Minimum 5-7 years of experience in MEP site execution preferably in residential commercial or industrial projects Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM software Revit Navisworks etc Strong knowledge of MEP systems codes and standards Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Excellent coordination problem-solving and communication skills Strong focus on quality safety and timely delivery Preferred Skills Hands-on experience with BIM-based project execution Knowledge of project management software and site documentation tools Exposure to green building concepts sustainable MEP solutions is a plus Job Types Full time Permanent Pay 9 027 14 - 32 917 28 per month Shift availability Day Shift Preferred Willingness to travel 25 Preferred Work Location In person
