We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Travel Tours industry The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting practices with at least 2-3 years of experience working within the travel and tourism sector The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements balance sheets and profit loss statements for the organization Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable accounts receivable and general ledger management Travel and Tourism Accounting Handle invoicing payments and reconciliations for travel-related transactions including bookings tours and accommodations Tax Compliance Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns ensuring compliance with tax regulations related to travel and tourism services Budgeting and Forecasting Support in budgeting and financial forecasting helping the management team make informed business decisions Internal Controls Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal controls to prevent discrepancies or fraudulent activities Reporting to Management Provide regular financial updates and reports to senior management highlighting key financial metrics and trends within the travel and tours industry Audit Preparation Assist in internal and external audits providing necessary documents and reports Required Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as an Accountant specifically within the Travel Tours industry Robust knowledge of accounting principles tax laws and financial regulations Proficient in accounting software e g Tally QuickBooks or other ERP systems Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with handling international transactions and foreign currencies in the travel industry Certification in Accounting e g CA CMA would be an advantage Job Type Full-time Pay 18 000 00 - 30 000 00 per month Benefits Health insurance Paid time off Schedule Day shift Morning shift Work Location In person
