Hiring: Wedding Event Coordinator – ChennaiAbout WedZat:

WedZat is a video-first wedding platform, not a traditional event-planning company. We help couples discover suitable wedding vendors, compare their work and receive personalised planning support based on their budget, location and requirements.

We are looking for an energetic Wedding Event Coordinator with at least 1 year of experience in the wedding or event industry.

This is a full-time, work-from-office role in Chennai. There is no physical event setup or on-ground decoration work involved.

Your role

- Coordinate with wedding vendors and onboard them onto WedZat
- Handle enquiries from couples through calls and WhatsApp
- Understand their budget, location and wedding requirements




- Shortlist suitable vendors and support couples throughout the planning process
- Follow up with vendors and couples to convert enquiries into bookings

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in wedding planning or event coordination
- Strong Tamil and English communication skills
- Confident in handling clients over calls
- Valuable knowledge of wedding vendors and services
- Must be based in Chennai and willing to work from the office

Salary: ₹15,000–₹22,000 per month

Location: Chennai
