Position Overview

Maison No.3 is seeking a curious, technically versatile, and future-focused Digital Systems Apprentice to join our Digital Department. This internship is designed for individuals who enjoy building complete digital experiences, from intuitive user interfaces to scalable backend systems.

We are looking for someone who embraces modern development practices, is comfortable with AI-assisted ("vibe") coding , rapidly prototypes ideas, and understands that excellent software is built through thoughtful architecture rather than simply writing code. The ideal candidate should possess working knowledge across both frontend and backend development, demonstrate a willingness to learn emerging technologies, and enjoy solving real business problems through technology.

Success in This Role The successful candidate will:

- Build modern, responsive, and scalable web applications.
- Contribute to both frontend and backend development.
- Develop internal systems, dashboards, and automation tools.
- Collaborate closely with Interface Architects (UI/UX), Growth, Editorial, and Brand teams.
- Use AI development tools responsibly to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
- Learn to architect systems that are maintainable, secure, and scalable.

Areas of Responsibility

Full Stack Development

Develop and maintain modern web applications across frontend and backend technologies.

Responsibilities include

- Building responsive user interfaces
- Backend API development
- Authentication systems

- Performance optimisation

Frontend Development Build intuitive, responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern frameworks.

Work closely with the Interface Team to transform design systems into production-ready interfaces.

Backend Development Develop secure and scalable backend systems including:

Essential Qualifications

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of full stack web development fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of frontend and backend technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Curiosity to explore new technologies and development tools.

What You'll Find at the Maison This internship is intended to provide meaningful exposure to the complete lifecycle of modern digital product development. Rather than working on isolated tasks, you will contribute to real products, internal systems, websites, automations, and digital experiences across multiple brands within the Maison. You will work alongside strategists, designers, developers, marketers, writers, and founders to build technology that supports both creativity and commerce.
