Role Description

Highh is looking for a talented Web Developer to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time remote position open to candidates who are passionate about building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications while writing clean, efficient, and secure code. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building responsive user interfaces, developing backend services and RESTful APIs, integrating third-party platforms, optimizing applications for performance and scalability, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.



You will also participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and help improve engineering standards and best practices across the team.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in Back-End Web Development using technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, Go, or similar frameworks.
- Solid understanding of web development fundamentals, including client-server architecture, RESTful APIs, authentication, and up-to-date web technologies.
- Hands-on programming experience with scalable web applications and software engineering best practices.
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control systems, and collaborative development workflows.
- Experience building responsive, cross-browser compatible, and performance-optimized web applications.
- Understanding of databases, cloud services, deployment processes, and web security best practices.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
