We Are Hiring Senior Accountant In Ahmedabad Job Title Senior Accountant We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee and manage key accounting functions ensure financial accuracy and support strategic financial planning The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of accounting standards robust analytical abilities and a proven track record of leading financial processes Key Responsibilities Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements in compliance with accounting regulations GAAP IFRS Manage month-end and year-end closing processes Monitor general ledger activities and ensure accurate financial reporting Coordinate with auditors and lead internal and external audit processes Prepare and review tax filings ensuring compliance with relevant laws Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis Supervise junior accountants and provide mentorship and training Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial planning and business decision-making Ensure timely reconciliation of accounts including bank and intercompany accounts Requirements Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field Master s or CPA CA preferred 5 years of progressive accounting experience Proficiency in accounting software e g SAP Oracle QuickBooks Tally and Excel Strong understanding of GAAP IFRS and local tax regulations Excellent analytical organizational and communication skills Preferred Experience in industry-specific knowledge if needed e g manufacturing SaaS real estate Prior team leadership experience
