Role Description The SAP S/4HANA Functional Performance Testing SME is a remote, contract role focused on ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of SAP S/4HANA functional processes. In this role, you will collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and performance engineers to design performance test scenarios aligned with key business workflows, integrations, and critical transactions.

You will analyze functional requirements, define performance test cases, and validate end-to-end performance results across modules and interfaces, including integration with other enterprise systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing test scripts, coordinating test data and environments, interpreting performance metrics, documenting defects and bottlenecks,



and providing recommendations for tuning and optimization. You will also contribute to best practices, testing standards, and knowledge sharing for SAP performance engineering within client engagements.

DDAI Tech is looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant / Business Process SME to support our performance testing team.

The consultant will act as the functional bridge between SAP business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, integration teams, and performance engineers.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Identify business-critical SAP transactions and end-to-end process flows

✅ Define realistic user workloads, transaction volumes, and peak-processing scenarios

✅ Support performance test scenario preparation across SAP S/4HANA modules

✅ Explain SAP process dependencies, prerequisite data, approvals, and backend processing

✅ Validate whether submitted transaction volumes are successfully processed in the SAP backend

✅ Identify critical batch jobs, background processes, interfaces, APIs, IDocs, RFCs, and integration touchpoints

✅ Support workload modelling for month-end, quarter-end, year-end, billing, procurement, inventory, and financial closing activities

✅ Validate SAP business SLAs, batch completion windows, throughput,



and transaction response-time requirements

✅ Facilitate reviews with business, SAP Functional, Basis, ABAP, Integration, and Performance Testing teams

✅ Support production performance-readiness and go-live assessments

Required Experience

? 8+ years of SAP functional or SAP business process experience

? Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA

? Expertise in one or more modules such as SAP FI/CO, SD, MM, PP, EWM/WM, PM/EAM, QM, PS, or TM

? Strong understanding of Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Plan-to-Produce, and Inventory Management processes

? Experience with batch jobs, background processing, integrations, APIs, OData, IDocs, RFCs, and BAPIs

? Ability to validate frontend transactions against SAP backend documents and processing results

? Previous experience supporting SAP performance testing, volume testing, production readiness, or large-scale SAP transformation programs is preferred

? Location: Remote

? Working Hours: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST

? Duration: Minimum 6 months, with possible extension

? Engagement Type: Consultant / Contract

? Budget: Up to ₹2,00,000 per month
