Role Description The Warehouse and Inventory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations and inventory control for Nootie products at The Pet Point locations. This role manages receiving, storage, and dispatch of pet products, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, and proper rotation to maintain product quality.

The manager will organize warehouse layouts, implement and monitor inventory systems, maintain documentation, and coordinate with purchasing, retail, and logistics teams to support smooth store operations.



Daily responsibilities include supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety and cleanliness standards, resolving stock discrepancies, and preparing regular inventory and performance reports. The role also involves identifying process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and support an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong warehouse operations and inventory management skills, including experience with stock control systems and warehouse layout optimization.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, inventory software, POS systems) and ability to analyze inventory data and prepare reports.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams, delegating tasks, and training staff in warehouse procedures and safety standards.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with purchasing, retail, logistics, and veterinary teams.
- Knowledge of best practices in handling pet food and pet care products, including storage conditions, product rotation, and quality checks.
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of warehouse work, such as standing for extended periods and safely lifting and moving merchandise.
- Prior experience in retail, pet care, FMCG, or distribution environments is preferred; experience in a managerial or supervisory role is an advantage.
