US Accounting Executive (Xero, A2X & Cin7 Core)

About the role-

We manage accounting for US-based e-commerce clients selling across multiple channels (Amazon, Shopify, and others) with their own inventory operations. Your job is making three systems tell one consistent story: A2X brings in settlement-level sales and fee data, Cin7 Core tracks inventory and COGS, and Xero is where it all has to reconcile into a clean set of books. If you've only ever done single-channel bookkeeping, this will stretch you — if you've done multichannel e-comm accounting before, this is exactly that job, done properly instead of sloppily.

What you'll own

- Full-cycle US accounting in Xero: AP/AR, bank reconciliations, monthly close, US GAAP-based financial statements
- Reconcile A2X settlement postings (Amazon/Shopify/Walmart) against bank deposits and Xero — catching fee/refund/reserve discrepancies before close, not after
- Reconcile inventory valuation, COGS, and landed cost between Cin7 Core and Xero
- Investigate mismatches across all three systems — sync errors, timing differences, miscategorized fees — and fix them,



not just flag them
- Multi-state US sales tax tracking and reporting
- Support US client calls on close status, variances, and reporting (confirm if client-facing)
- Assist with 1099 prep and year-end audit support for the client's external CPA

What you need-

- 2–5 years of US accounting experience, ideally with e-commerce/multichannel clients
- Hands-on working experience in Xero
- Hands-on working experience in A2X
- Hands-on working experience in Cin7 Core
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, COGS, and multichannel settlement accounting
- Robust written and spoken English
- Comfortable with a fixed night shift aligned to US business hours

Nice to have-

- Experience with additional e-comm tools (QuickBooks Online, Link My Books, Bill.com)
- Exposure to multi-entity or multi-currency client books
- Prior direct experience with a US-based CPA firm or controller
