CNC Machinist

Key Responsibilities

- Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines, or machining centers.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.;

- Load raw materials and tooling into CNC machines.

- Monitor machining operations and make offset adjustments as required.

- Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and bore gauges.

- Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product quality.

- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize cycle times.

- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.

- Follow safety procedures and company quality standards.

- Maintain production records and machine logs.

Required Qualifications

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related field.

- 25 years of experience operating CNC machines (Turning/Milling/VMC/HMC).





- Knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or Mitsubishi.

- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;

- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments.

- Basic understanding of CNC programming and editing is preferred.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with tooling selection and machine setup.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or IATF quality systems.

- Familiarity with CAM software is an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

- Manufacturing/production workplace.

- Rotational shifts may be required.

- Standing for extended periods and handling machine tools and materials safely.
