a continuous learning philosophy Position Overview We are seeking a Software Technical Architect Ruby on Rails to join our growing Product team in India Position Summary We are looking for a Technical Architect who will be responsible for orchestrating complex application development across the full lifecycle of development from concept to postproduction support and maintenance of modern software applications and services The associate will develop application code contribute to and manage version-controlled source code repositories and will manage assigned tasks to create measurable value and deliver software to market using industry- recognized agile methodologies and best practices The associate will contribute to the prescribed standards and guidelines and will act as a consultant to the architects and leadership teams and must demonstrate quality brevity and timeliness in all deliverables In this role candidate will Developing and maintaining technical documentation and diagrams Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to developers Help resolve complex technical challenges within the project Participate in the development of core application components Ensure smooth integration of different software modules and services Work on performance optimization and security enhancements Support DevOps and CI CD implementations Ensure scalability and resilience of cloud applications Assist in designing and developing microservices-based architectures Define API specifications security policies and integration strategies Work with monitoring tools like Datadog Prometheus or AWS CloudWatch Work closely with business stakeholders product managers and development teams Collaborating effectively with engineers project managers designers and QA in an agile Scrum environment by participating in project scoping and planning including shaping and estimating of project tasks Document architectural decisions guidelines and technical specifications Other duties and Software Engineer Computer Science or other technical discipline or equivalent experience Strong experience with Ruby on Rails in customer-facing applications Database Knowledge Proficiency in SQL PostgreSQL and NoSQL MongoDB Experience building applications at scale in AWS Strong knowledge of event-driven architecture including Kafka Understanding of OAuth OIDC JWT and application security principles Developing application code and unit tests in Ruby on Rails and Python Strong understanding of RESTful APIs GraphQL service-oriented architecture Making complex technical and design
