Posted Date 26 Jul 2025 Function Business Area Others Location Jamnagar Job Responsibilities Design Leadership Lead the design team providing technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and designers Establish and maintain design standards guidelines and best practices for all MEP BMS FF and ELV disciplines Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes regulations and industry standards Conduct regular design reviews and quality control checks to ensure project quality and adherence to deadlines Project Management Provide technical support and guidance to project managers throughout the project lifecycle Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other consultants to ensure integrated design solutions Manage the design budget and schedule for all MEP BMS FF and ELV systems Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and efficient project execution Innovation Technology Research and implement innovative technologies and solutions to improve building performance and efficiency Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in MEP BMS FF and ELV systems Explore and implement sustainable and energy-efficient design strategies Client Relationships Build and maintain solid relationships with clients and stakeholders Effectively communicate technical information to clients and internal teams Address client concerns and resolve design-related issues promptly Team Management Recruit hire and train a high-performing team of design engineers Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members Education Requirement Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering will be desirable Experience Requirement 25 plus years of experience preferably from Real Estate industry with a proven track record of managing luxury residential projects out of which 15 years of experience in the design and engineering of MEP BMS FF and ELV systems for large-scale building projects Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams Strong knowledge of building codes regulations and industry standards e g NFPA ASHRAE LEED Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills Proficiency in relevant design software e g AutoCAD Revit BIM software Experience with sustainable and energy-efficient building design principles Skills Competencies Skills Rating 1-4 Leadership and Team Management skills 4 Problem solving and interpersonal skills 4 Knowledge of new innovations and technological advancement in the industry 4 Ability to think creatively and explore innovative solutions 4 Effective communication and presentation skills 4 Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams 4 Deep understanding of MEP BMS FF and ELV systems including HVAC plumbing electrical fire protection security and building automation 4 Strong project management skills including planning scheduling budgeting and risk management 4
