Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Structural Draftsman with 2–8 years of experience in preparing structural drawings using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of structural steel and RCC detailing, beam detailing, and framing plans. The candidate will work closely with structural engineers to produce accurate construction drawings and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare structural drawings and detailed drafting using AutoCAD.
- Develop and modify RCC and structural steel drawings based on engineering designs.
- Prepare beam detailing, column detailing, slab detailing, and reinforcement drawings.
- Create framing plans, foundation plans, and general arrangement (GA) drawings.
- Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and project teams to incorporate design changes.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness,



and compliance with project standards.
- Maintain drawing revisions and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality drafting work.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of RCC and structural steel detailing.
- Experience in beam detailing, framing plans, and structural layouts.
- Understanding of structural engineering drawings and construction standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering calculations and design sketches.
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualifications

- Diploma/ITI/Certification in AutoCAD Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- AutoCAD certification preferred.

Experience

- 2–8 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman in structural engineering, construction, or consulting firms.
