Role Overview
We are hiring a Procurement Executive with hands-on knowledge of electronic components to manage sourcing, vendor coordination, and purchase planning. The candidate should be capable of understanding BOM (Bill of Materials) and ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement of critical components.

Key Responsibilities

Electronics Procurement

- Handle procurement of electronic components such as PCB, ICs, MOSFETs, capacitors, resistors
- Procure SMPS components, connectors, relays
- Manage sourcing of batteries and solar charge controller parts
- Work with the engineering team to understand BOM and technical specifications
- Identify alternate components (equivalents) during shortages

Vendor and Supply Management

- Develop vendors for electronics, fabrication, and assemblies
- Negotiate pricing, MOQ, lead time, and payment terms
- Coordinate with distributors such as Mouser Electronics, Digi-Key Electronics, Element14, and local Indian vendors

Inventory and Production Coordination

- Track component availability against production schedules
- Maintain minimum stock levels for critical components
- Prevent line stoppages due to shortages

Cost Optimization and Planning

- Perform cost comparison and value engineering




- Suggest alternate sourcing or bulk purchasing strategies
- Reduce BOM cost without compromising quality

Documentation and ERP

- Generate and track Purchase Orders (POs)
- Maintain records of GRN, invoices, and vendor data
- Coordinate with accounts for payment follow-ups

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education

- ITI, Diploma, or BE in Electronics or Electrical with strong electronics knowledge

Experience

- 1 to 5 years in electronics procurement or purchase
- Experience in solar, IoT, or PCB manufacturing is preferred

Must-Have Skills

- Understanding of electronic components and datasheets
- Ability to read and interpret BOM
- Knowledge of component equivalents and substitutions
- Strong negotiation and vendor follow-up skills
- Positive knowledge of Excel and basic ERP systems

- Ability to coordinate with R&D;, Production, and Accounts
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Salary Range
₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month (based on experience)
