Job Title: Senior Human Resources Business Partner (India Region)

Position Summary The Senior Human Resources Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor to Business Unit (BU) leaders, driving alignment between people strategy and business objectives. This role focuses on workforce planning, employee engagement, talent development, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across a global delivery model, with a primary focus on India-based teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
- Act as a trusted advisor to BU leaders on all people-related matters, including workforce planning, engagement, development, and organizational effectiveness.
- Partner with business leaders to implement HR strategies that align with overall business goals.
- Anticipate business needs and proactively recommend HR solutions to address potential challenges.
Stakeholder Influence & Collaboration
- Effectively advocate for HR initiatives and drive alignment across stakeholders at all levels.
- Actively participate in BU meetings by presenting data-driven insights, sharing HR expertise, and influencing decision-making.
- Build strong, credible relationships with leaders and employees to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Coach and support people leaders through moderately complex organizational decisions, balancing business needs with people implications.
Workforce Planning & Talent Management
- Support workforce planning efforts by analyzing business needs and recommending staffing strategies.
- Contribute to talent development initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, and career development.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide actionable insights that inform business decisions.
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for improving engagement, retention, and overall employee experience.
HR Expertise & Advisory
- Ensure alignment of India HR practices with global HR strategy and U.S.- based leadership expectations
- Apply knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging HR technologies to enhance HR solutions and business outcomes.
- Provide guidance on moderately complex employee relations and HR issues, ensuring consistent, compliant, and fair outcomes.
Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement
- Identify, analyze, and resolve HR-related challenges with a practical and business-focused approach.
- Continuously improve HR processes and practices to drive efficiency and impact.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong exposure to HR business partnering.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive HR initiatives in a matrixed organization.
- Experience working in a global organization, with direct support and reporting alignment to a U.S.-based company and leadership team.
