Position Title: Assistant / Junior Procurement Engineer Electronics / PCB

Location: AIPL Chennai

Key Responsibilities

- Support the senior procurement engineer in component sourcing, long-lead item tracking, and BOM alignment with the PCB design-to-build schedule.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement status in the shared project dashboard, including supplier confirmations, pricing, and lead-time impacts.
- Participate in the daily meeting by providing procurement-specific highlights.
- Assist in supplier performance monitoring, alternate part identification, and escalation of any supply-chain blockers.
- Conduct daily/weekly verification of component availability against the master BOM and flag discrepancies to project managers.
- Support the senior procurement engineer in mentoring activities, quality report reviews, and corrective.
- Contribute to the Critical Issues Log and weekly procurement pipeline review.

Qualifications & Experience

- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics,



Electrical, or related field (fresh graduate or 02 years of experience in electronics/components procurement preferred).
- Basic knowledge of electronic components, datasheets, and supply-chain terminology.
- Familiarity with ERP systems or procurement tools is a plus.

- Effective communication for coordinating with suppliers, EMS teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment and learn quickly under structured daily cadence.
