Job Title: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse

Job Summary:

An ER Nurse provides immediate, high-quality nursing care to patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions. The role involves rapid assessment, triage, stabilization, emergency interventions, and collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform triage and prioritize patients based on the severity of their condition.
- Assess, monitor, and document patients' vital signs and clinical status.
- Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and emergency treatments as prescribed.
- Assist physicians during emergency procedures, trauma care, resuscitation, and code blue events.
- Perform wound care, IV cannulation, ECGs, catheterization, specimen collection, and other nursing procedures.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and promptly report changes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
- Follow infection prevention,



patient safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, paramedics, laboratory, radiology, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
- Experience in Emergency, Critical Care, or Trauma Nursing is preferred.
