About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Retail Trainer to deliver vocational training to students of Classes 9 to 12. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the retail industry, excellent classroom management skills, and a passion for preparing students with practical skills for careers in the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive retail training sessions for students of Classes 9–12.
- Teach retail concepts including customer service, sales techniques, merchandising, store operations, inventory management, billing processes, and workplace ethics.
- Develop lesson plans, presentations, practical activities, assignments, and assessments aligned with the curriculum.
- Conduct hands-on training, role plays, demonstrations, and project-based learning activities.
- Guide students in developing communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer handling skills.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and regular feedback.
- Maintain student attendance, assessment records, progress reports, and other training documentation.
- Coordinate with school authorities and the project team to ensure smooth implementation of training sessions.
- Organize industry exposure visits, guest lectures, and career guidance sessions whenever required.
- Ensure classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest retail trends, technologies, and industry practices.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelor's degree in Retail Management, Commerce, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Diploma or certification in Retail Management or Skill Development will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in retail training, retail operations, or the retail industry.
- Experience in teaching school students or vocational training programs will be preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills

- Solid knowledge of retail operations and customer service.
- Ability to engage and motivate students through practical learning methods.
- Good organizational, reporting, and documentation skills.
- Experience working with schools, NGOs, or skill development projects.
- Willingness to travel to assigned schools if required.
