Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with a robust background in designing Special Purpose Machines (SPMs). The ideal candidate should be proficient in machine design, concept development, 3D modelling, and technical documentation, with a practical understanding of manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities:

· Design and develop custom SPMs as per client and project requirements.

· Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo).

· Conduct feasibility studies, design calculations, and component selection.

· Collaborate with electrical, controls, and manufacturing teams to ensure complete and functional design integration.

· Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and internal quality guidelines.

· Provide technical support during assembly, testing, and commissioning of machines.

· Participate in design reviews, cost estimations, and project planning discussions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience in SPM/mechanical automation design.

· Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.

· Strong understanding of mechanisms, pneumatics, hydraulics, and drive systems.

· Good grasp of material selection, manufacturing methods, and GD&T;.

· Experience with DFMEA, design validation, and prototype testing is an advantage.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
