Key Responsibilities Engineering Strategy & Architecture
- Define and own the engineering strategy for gaming platforms, including backend, frontend, and platform services.
- Architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems to support real-time gameplay, live events, and peak traffic.
- Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native platforms.
- Ensure solid focus on performance, security, fairness, and platform integrity.

Execution & Delivery
- Lead multiple engineering teams through Directors, Managers, and Architects.
- Establish delivery, quality, and reliability metrics (SLAs, SLOs, uptime, latency).
- Oversee sprint planning, releases, production readiness, and incident management.




- Own production stability, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

People Leadership & Culture
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering leadership.
- Drive hiring strategy for senior and critical technical roles.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and fast experimentation.
- Partner with HR on performance management, succession planning, and org design.

Product & Business Partnership
- Collaborate closely with Product, Game Design, Monetization, and Analytics teams.
- Translate gameplay and engagement needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Balance speed, quality, and player experience in delivery decisions.
- Communicate technical roadmap, risks, and trade-offs to executive leadership.
