Target Profile : Retired Colonel with 4+ years’ multi-location corporate security leadership

Summary of Role & Ideal Candidate : This is not a conventional advisory role. We need a dynamic leader who seamlessly transitions between corporate strategy in the boardroom and tactical execution on the ground. You will architect the national security apparatus, institutionalize child safeguarding standards and build a world-class, professional security culture, ground up.

The Mandate & Scope :

- Scale of Ops : Direct oversight of security across 150+ campuses nationwide, managing a distributed force of 1,500+ security personnel (9-15 staff per campus), reporting to the COO
- Leadership Span : Direct leadership of City Security Heads and regional teams across all major metro clusters.
- Core Mission : Shift security operations from a passive guard deployment model to a proactive, technology-enabled, and intelligence-driven safeguarding architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Strategic Governance & Board-Level Advisory :

- Partner with CXOs and leadership to align security risk management with org growth.
- Design, implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all existing campuses and any new greenfield expansions.
- Drive institutional compliance with national child protection laws, local municipal norms, and safety standards.

1. Ground-Level Operational Excellence & Training :

- Build a disciplined,



professional and continuously audited security force pan locations.
- Implement structured training programs focusing on child safeguarding, visitor access control, emergency response and soft skills for campus security personnel.
- Periodically visit campus sites to conduct surprise audits, evaluate City Security Heads and address operational friction on the ground.

1. Security Technology & Innovation

- Define roadmap for security technology and command centre capabilities.
- Drive adoption of digital tools, analytics and automation to improve security.

1. Enterprise Risk Management & Crisis Leadership :

- Cultivate an active risk-assessment culture—identifying and mitigating structural, physical and operational vulnerabilities before they escalate.
- Act as the apex Incident Commander for all types of network-wide and major crises.
- Establish robust liaison with law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies across all operating states.

1. Performance & Reporting : · Develop security dashboards and key performance indicators.

· Provide periodic reports to leadership on risks, incidents, compliance, emerging threats and overall security maturity.

- Drive continuous improvement by benchmarking and data-driven decision making.
