Role Overview

The Senior Manager / GM – Business Finance serves as a strategic financial co-pilot to leadership across Retail (EBO, LFS, MBO) and E-Commerce channels. This role owns financial planning, store unit economics (EBITDA, ROI, payback), inventory productivity, and commercial strategy to drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Commercial Partnering & Unit Economics: Evaluate new store viability (Capex, payback periods, ROI) and conduct post-opening audits. Analyze channel profitability across EBOs, LFS, MBOs, and online platforms.
- FP&A; & Strategic Planning: Drive annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial models tracking key retail metrics ($/Sq.Ft., SSSG, ABV, AUR).
- Margin & Pricing Strategy: Partner with Merchandising to structure pricing, promotional discounts, and seasonal markdowns to maximize gross margins.
- Inventory & Working Capital: Review Open-to-Buy (OTB) budgets, sell-through rates, stock turn,



and inventory aging provisions to prevent cash locking.
- Commercial Governance & Leases: Evaluate real estate commercial leases (revenue-share vs. fixed rentals, CAM charges) and vendor agreements to optimize occupancy costs.
- Leadership & Reporting: Prepare Monthly Business Review (MBR) decks for senior leadership, drive ERP/SAP dashboard automation, and lead a finance team.

Candidate Eligibility & Key Competencies

- Mandatory CA: Qualified Chartered Accountant registered with ICAI.
- Relevant Experience: 7–12 years in Business Finance, FP&A;, or Commercial Finance within Retail, Fashion, FMCG, or Lifestyle sectors.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel financial modeling, store P&L; analytics, inventory/working capital management, and SAP/ERP systems.
- Leadership Traits: Strong business acumen, assertive executive communication, and ability to influence senior business heads.

Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹4,500,000.00 per year
