Role overview

We are seeking a ServiceNow expert with hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) to support the ongoing operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our internal ServiceNow platform. This role focuses on ensuring secure platform performance, user support, and incremental enhancements aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

Maintenance

Implement minor change request and bug fix for ServiceNow SPM modules with some customization for Demand Management and Project Portfolio Management

- Implement minor change request and bug fix for ServiceNow ITAM customized screen and dashboard based on OOTB

- Manage and support ITAM processes including Hardware Asset Management (HAM), Software Asset Management (SAM), and CMDB data integrity

- Implement minor change request and bug fix for ServiceNow ITSM (Incident Management) customized screen and configuration based on OOTB

- Maintain documentation for operational procedures, configuration standards, and support workflows.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Business policy maker at HQ, IT Operations at IT division) to ensure alignment between platform capabilities and business processes.





Operation

- Monitor platform health, conduct routine maintenance, and troubleshoot incidents and service requests related to SPM and ITAM.

- Provide training and guidance to internal users and act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow SPM and ITAM modules.

Required Qualifications

- 5–8 years of experience in ServiceNow platform implementation, with at least 2 years in SPM and ITAM modules. Strong understanding of ITIL, project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall), and asset lifecycle processes.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow App Engine, Flow Designer, and Performance Analytics.

- Proficiency in scripting (JavaScript, Rest API) and ServiceNow configuration.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SPM or PPM

- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – ITAM
