CapitalSquare is seeking a skilled, high-potential candidate for our Private Equity Desk. He will be responsible for end to end execution of Deal. This role requires solid analytical and verbal skill and ability to work under desired time lines. Candidates must be focused and strongly self-motivated, previous relevant experience is must, experience in origination would be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identification and reach out to targets for Private Equity
- Financial and Strategic analysis of Targets
- Preparation of Financial Model, Pitch Book, Presentation and other transaction documents
- Participating in the due diligence process and other general support to the senior investment team throughout the transaction process
- Managing relationship with Private Equity Funds, VC Funds
- Industry and sector research and identification of potential and active areas
- End to end execution of transaction
- Handling a team of 5 people
Education / Qualification
CA or MBA is highly desirable.
Experience
2 To 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Skills
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build and audit complex financial models
Ability to understand complex issues and explain arguments concisely
High level of numeracy, working knowledge of accounting
Intimate knowledge of valuation techniques and their appropriate application
High degree of commercial awareness
Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver to tight deadlines
Productive in a team environment and works well under pressure
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to develop and maintain internal/external relationships
Strong desire to learn
