We're Hiring: Video Editing Intern

Kiara Clinic is looking for a creative Video Editing Intern to join our content team. If you love storytelling through editing, pacing, and visual effects, this is a excellent opportunity to build your portfolio with real projects.

Location: Kiara Clinic Duration: 6 Month Stipend: 10000-15000

What You'll Do:

- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, YouTube, ads, etc.
- Add transitions, effects, text, subtitles, and color correction
- Sync audio, music, and sound effects to video
- Trim/cut content to match platform requirements (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
- Organize and manage raw footage and project files
- Collaborate with content/social team on video concepts and scripts
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips
- Stay updated on editing trends, transitions, and styles

Who We're Looking For:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film, Media, Design, or related field
- Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut)
- Basic knowledge of color grading and audio syncing
- Understanding of pacing, storytelling, and platform-specific formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)




- Creative eye for detail and visual flow
- Ability to work with deadlines and handle feedback/revisions

Skills Required:

- Video editing software (Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro / CapCut)
- Color grading & correction basics
- Audio syncing & sound design basics
- Motion graphics/text animation (After Effects — a plus)
- Storytelling & pacing sense
- File organization & project management
- Attention to detail
- Time management (quick-turnaround edits)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

- Review and organize raw footage from shoots
- Edit videos as per script/brief (rough cut → fine cut → final)
- Add graphics, subtitles, transitions, and background music
- Export in required formats/resolutions for different platforms
- Take feedback from team and make revisions
- Archive completed projects and maintain footage library
